Excess Liability Insurance
Under the applicable professional liability insurance regulations, members practicing as CPAs, as defined in the Chartered Professional Accountants Act, within a limited liability partnership (LLP) or a corporation (CPA), are required to obtain excess liability insurance for the corporation to cover potential professional misconduct, in addition to the basic mandatory professional liability insurance for all CPAs.
